Technical Sedicivalvole thermostat - HELP!

Wow - got all geared up to do this tomoz - just went and bought the thermostat and antifreeze and now I just went outside to see what tools I'll need and cannot see where the thermostat is on the engine? I have trawled this site and the internet and can't find any help - can someone point me in the right direction? I am already prepared to be told that it aint a diy job though! thanks

Its on the back of the head, i.e. LHS of the car over the gearbox. By the distributer. Its a fiddly job, can take a while. There is a bracket off the lower bolt too, its easy to get frustrated doing this so take it easy.

Sh*t - there's no way I can do this repair myself - it's too complicated I have done a thermostat on a Vauxhall Calibra, a Daewoo Espero and even a Fiat Strada and a Morris Marina - but this is too much work. I'll get him booked into our garage hopefully in the next two weeks and get him sorted - at least they won't charge for parts, I even got the gasket compound!

Shame cos the car is doing about 10 to the gallon atm

Appart from an Audi A4 V6 its about the worst thermo to replace I know.
