I am interested to know what security issues there are with the blue and me system. is it safe? can other people easily access your details etc. my car today also had someone still talking via the car speaker when I'd turned ignition off, removed key, hot out and locked car. surely that isn't right? i have 500 1.4 sport 09.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I've never put my name, address, bank details or anything I'd want not want other people to know into B&M

i've done that...it was really helpful because I just turned off the car and forgot that I would be ending the phone call...but then the phone call continued! Surprise and delight!

If you store you phone book in the car they are then stored on the B&M system. The connection is made in the usual pairing way using a 4 digit pin. Its therefore as safe as any bluetooth connection.
Pairing can only take place when you initiate it from the bluetooth settings so i doubt anyone could pull anything off the car if they were outside trying
