seat not locking into position..

just noticed my mate sat in the passenger seat he is very skinny therefore i now noticed that the seat didnt lock but eventually did after a while...

was it grease
to dark to tell at the mo

will wd40 sort it

if so where do i spray lol

please advise what is the likely cause, grease?

on the clip to recline the seats is it sticking? and are all the teeth clean? just spray the runners and if u put ur head under with a torch you will see something similar...

but longer just give them a tickle with a clothe and wd40 them and see if the problem goes

It can also be that your seat runners are not strait, unscrew them on the front, slide the seat to the back and then tighten then again. Play around with the position untill the seat starts to run smooth up and down.
