Technical Seat belt warning

As I have a seatbelt exemption I decided to see about turning off the audible warning.

Fiat said they could do it but would charge £45!!!

On principle I have no intention of paying someone that sum if I could possibly do it myself.

My local garage does not know how it is done, does anyone else?

pretty sure only fiat with their fancy pants machine can turn it off for you, dont think FES will be able to do it

MultiECUScan (was FiatECUScan) can turn the seatbelt warning off.

I can do this for you for free if you can travel/near Southampton.

NOTE! The unregistered/free version of MultiECUScan can not do this!

Will put up with it for now - goes off after repeating about 14 times!

I think you can overide manually by connecting the seat belt and then releasing it again. As long as there is no change in any of the occupancy seat sensors.
