It's not in the menu.......................
What you do is turn on your side lights with the ignition on and when you turn off the ignition the side lights will turn off.
When you turn the ignition back on the side lights will turn on also.

So really you just turn on the lights on the switch and leave them on and they go off/on with the ignition..

If you have DRLs which are supposed to go off with the enabling of any lights, why have the lights come one with the ignition as that would surely disable the DRLs?

I'll experiment.

Wife had flat battery on Qubo this week, she was sure the lights went off with the ignition off. This may be the reason..
I will give it a try later.

I think R-V-M's wire link has become the permanent solution. (y) - unless the next-nearest dealer can sort it....... watch this space!!

Visited next nearest dealer today-100% Fiat so looked promising . Explained problem to nice lady on service desk and told her about R-V-M's wire link pinpointing faulty seatbelt sensor in buckle. "We can do diagnostic at £70 (not covered by warranty) and the buckle/sensor is £99 +VAT plus fitting (may not be covered by warranty either)". I thanked her politely and left. Wire link still in place and working perfectly (y) although I might look for a used buckle on-line.

Some of these unit prices sound like 'how much can we get away with' and when you consider the parts are no doubt interchangeable across the Nemo/Bipper range too - they're just on a make.

I asked the senior service guy in Chesterfield Autoworld about the possibility of a LHD driver's seat for mine so the pax can have the same comfort as I have (the fold-flat seat is a bit basic and not very 'bucket-y' like mine) he said they'd ordered or costed a lower frame for someone else's Qubo and that part was c £600.

Is it just possible that someone on here is an operative at a dealership and could get things at cost maybe to help out his fellow owners? T'would be nice :)

I thought I'd swap over the front seat belt buckles because as mentioned above, my side is faulty and they look the same. Pax one is ok and hardly ever used (Billy no-mates :D). You have to remove the 4 torx seat runner bolts to get the seat back enough to remove the buckle torx bolt.

The buckles aren't the same though, they have a small locating peg at the bottom which is set at a slight angle, to make them non-interchangeable, but why? :bang: Fortunately R-V-M's wire link is still working perfectly!! (y)

I may have found the answer!

Clicky It's not as cool as the fusible link (and more visible) but perhaps safer in one way in that you know it's there and have to remove it to become legal but for the shopping-on-pax-seat-bleep-avoidance it does the trick - but then, so does clipping the pax belt in before loading up with shopping!

Anyway, you choose ;)

Thanks for that R-V-M. "STFU" is what I used to shout at the intermittent bleep  !
Mine's due to the faulty switch/sensor in the driver's buckle so "STFU" wouldn't stop it. Your wire link across the under-seat connector is perfect as it shorts-out the switch/sensor. The safety system knows I'm in my seat and just thinks I've fastened my seat belt before starting up - which I always do anyway ;) .
Like you say, if pax seat shopping is a problem, just fasten the pax belt and save £2!
