Seam Welding

I'm getting closer to MOTing my Y10 which it failed originally due to corrosion. This has mostly involved gutting the passenger side sill and floor. Do people think from the photo that the welding will pass muster with an MOT tester.

Hard to tell but it seems like you have left small gaps between some of your pulses of weld, the tester might not be happy as all patches have to be completely welded. I would go round all the welds and fill in any gaps just to be safe.

personally I would use a brush on seam sealer over the welded areas then put a bit of paint on the top once its dry. I would do the same underneath but just dab some underseal onto it, this is probably the best way to go. if you find there are holes i would catch as many as you can then skim abit of filler over the top to fill any ones that are left. the seam sealer will protect it.
