Got the lads in our machine shop at work to CNC the lid for my fibreglass wheel well enclosure. Had it all CAM'd up first in the design deptartment.

24" x 18" MDF panel, with 2 holes and some rings to raise the subs. Deadly accurate with some machine marks for where the screws need to go so everything will be central / lined up when put together (y)

No more wobbly circles or sawdust all over the garage!

You shouldn't be attempting to cut a perfect round hole with a jigsaw anyway. Their called jigsaws because they do wobbly lines!

Router and a jig do a much better job. Router is one of the main tools you should have if your going to attempt and ice installation.

CNC - sledge hammer to crack a nut. :D

I used a jigsaw and it came out fairly tidy :D

True, but I don't have a router and as long as I'm working where I am now, I'll never need one!

Offered it all up last night and the two subs sticking up arse out of the floor look great.
