Ah, aren't Stilo's amusing? My mum's had the PAS warning again, she locked it and walked home (lucky she was on her way home so it was only a few minutes away), still amusing I thought! Think we're going to get it tracked and recharge the battery before we change the steering column . . .

I have a jtd 115 and have same noise since I bought car 2 years ago. Main dealer mechanic said it's the tensioner for fan belt and it's common fault on stilo's.

..... After almost FIVE years since the last post prior to yours, I suspect the OP has either fixed the problem, sold the car, or died by now.
