Scratch removal......

i came back to my car to see this huge scratch down the side of it and makes it looks really crappy, any1 know any decent places (cheap) to get it removed? i tried chipsaway and they said £100 + vat to do it .

Pain in the ass isnt it??

You could touch it up as a quick measure. If you leave it it might rust not sure on a MK1 punto if they are galvanised

how cud i stop it from rusting, put some grease on it?

put your thumb or finger nail against it.can you feel the scratch? if so,its gone through the paint. if not,try T cutting it.it might remove most of it.

punto mk1s are galvanised so it wont rust, but it will look ugly!, my sister has loads of scratches on her punto, like that, been there for 5 years and no rust, i want to get them sorted now (cheap though, probably just like you )
