ewww - i thought that french girl should have got in. I only watched the french girl, scooch and hawkins. Out of what i saw she was far the best.

I think these will do well, The EU likes cheesy brit pop and rock, daft costumes and routines.
Take last years winners for example, theyre not exactly a traditional band and werent even given odds last year of winning.
Weve tried and failed with the ballads and its totally backfired on us. This year might possibly see an upturn, however its all political anyway

exactly. its not even a competition, more of an international farce that requires a british sense of humour to fully appreciate it. if we entered a serious competitor we'd get more points but we'd be missing the whole point.
The fact is britain doesnt want to win eurovision, it costs ****loads to host!
I think scooch were the most 'eurovisiony' entry though (translate to biggest pile of gimicky ****e!). Only one of them could actually sing pmsl, the rest just had speaking parts!

i have lost all faith in the eurovision since 1996 when Gina G was robbed. that choon was so funkeh :yum:
