Just waiting for conformation that the cambelt has gone on the no.79. Have no time or money left in the pot so its going. Im sure it will make a nice little project car for someone but not for me anymore. Pictures and info to follow for anyone interested. Located in Northamptonshire...

Sad to hear that's happened. How long since you last changed the belt, out of interest..?

I had a donor engine put in last year and asked to have the cam belt changed. Mechanic said it was virtually brand new and didnt need doing. Obviously made a fatal error as i barely got 6000 miles out of it

Has the belt snapped, or has something else let go (tensioner, pulley or water pump)?

Reminds me of my old 145... I was going to change the water pump but it looked brilliant still so I thought it should manage another 36k.. packed up 11k short of being changed (and lunched the engine at the same time).
