As you may notice my Uno is for sale on the Bay (very reluctantly) !

Earlier this week I bought a mint 65,000 mileage S reg Seicento Sporting for 500 pound off a friend, an offer to good to refuse !

So it's time to say goodbye to the little Uno

...just hope it goes to a good home :)

Next year I'll be looking for an Uno turbo once my insurance has dropped a little more

edit: Thanks to everyone for all the help I received whilst I was getting it through the MOT and solving the heater issue !!

Was it the heater that was leaking then?

My dad has pools of water in all 4 footwells, yet still wants to keep hold of the car....
I'm wondering if it is another leaking heater matrix.

You'll be back, by the way ;)

Is the sporting in yellow or black? They seem to be the only colours I have seen them in, apart from the very rare grey or red ones.. :)

It's a red one, real nice to drive and feels really quick after driving the Uno for a while. It's nice to have remote central locking as well, I find myself standing at the window locking and unlocking it for the sake of it (sad I know !). It's got a Green induction kit and filter as well so it sounds like a little tank !

I presume it was the heater matrix, the passenger footwell has been dry for 3 months or so now (I resorted to using Bars Stop Leak which states it's the only stop leak that doesn't block up the matrix, done 600 odd miles now and no trouble so maybe true ?) and there has been no loss of heat from the vents. Though from time to time the drivers footwell gets damp, i've solved this by cutting away the carpet and placing cardboard down to keep it dry...only happens when it's been raining so it's a more 'normal' type leak.

....just gotta keep a NCB and an UT will be a possibility in the not too distant future.

Posted my Ebay listing this morning and it's still not coming up in the search results !!

It's gone !!

...guy came to collect it this afternoon, got 150 pound for it. A bargain for them really but I don't mind I needed a quick sale.

I think i'll keep the username as I will definitely be returning to Uno ownership someday !!

Sorry to hear that mr_uno. I hope the new owner takes care of it. Did you tell him about the fiatforum?
Any ideas what he will be doing with it?

Never mentioned the forum....

He currently has an UT which is rotten so he's going to swap all the UT stuff into my car. At least it means my car won't be getting scrapped anytime soon anyway.
