Hello can anybody point me in the correct area

Today I had to remove the fiat 500 diesel sport selespeed robot as a pipe needed fixing

When i removed it the car was stuck in neutral and started just kept coming up gearbox error

When i fitted it back on its now saying stuck in 5th gear and won't start a error comes up now saying b10aa proxi configuration control

Can anybody help have I installed it wrong and if I have how would I set up the neutral gear on the robot and gearbox if things have moved on fitting

When I fitted it I did have a bit of trouble getting it to sit correctly so have I moved the gear parts

I tried a proxy configuration but it fails so all I can assume if I have moved something

I still haven't got the pump to start although the relay does click and the pump works and correct amount of fluid is in the reservoir

Stupid car I only thought I'd help out now wish I didn't start it (why oh why do I even bother to help people to make me look stupid after)

I watched a video where the cables plug back into with each letter could I possibly still got it wrong

Hi - so I think the fact you had some trouble refitting it is significant, you may have inadvertently moved the selector levers on the top of the gearbox from neutral into a gear (5th in this case) whilst wrestling it on. I did this myself recently. Frustratingly the only way to fix is to take the acutator off again, move the selectors back to their central positions (and likewise the levers on the actuator itself). And hope it goes back on without too much wiggling next time.

The other thing you might have done is got the wiring plugs for the three gear selection solenoids (at the back) in the wrong places - if you had them disconnected at any point. Worth trying that first I suppose (if you can reach them) but make sure you label them clearly before you start in the event they are in fact correct!

I feel your pain - nothing is simple when it comes to dualogic!

Hi nick
Thankypu for your reply I think you may be correct as the first time i removed it I didn't have any trouble it was only on the 4th time it all went wrong (stupid sensor underneath cable can only be fitted when robot is removed)

I think I have the cables correct as its marked on the robot and cables 1 2 and 3 but was thinking I could of put 1 wrong il double check today.

I'm going to remove robot again today and check the gears.
I find it difficult because you can't just lift it out from the top as the battery mount is in the way so that probably doesn't help.

When I move the gear part how would I know if it is in neutral ???

How to describe - on the gearbox, the three selector levers should all be aligned with the recesses in them forming a rectangle. The rearmost one is (I think) the reverse lever and moves quite easily - if you move it right over to the left (as you look at it) then that should basically be the position the others should line up with (give or take a mm).

Then on the bottom of the actuator, the three levers (two right-angled and one straight) should all be pointing vertically downwards and aligned. Below is from a manual gear selector (courtesy of elsewhere on the forum!) but the equivalent bits on the robot should look the same...

Hi nick is this incorrect on the robot this is what it is like at the moment
I've moved the gearbox ones into place also

I'm assuming I need to move all 3 on the robot to line up with the centre line of triangle somehow

Thanks for your help
