sorry, i only put 205/40/R17 as the maximum because i assumed you would be lowering the car. in my head ALL cars should be lowered![]()
No, 205/40/17 will fit the marea without any issue, it gives the same rolling radius as the standard 15" rims but gives a little more width, the car tramlines more but i wouldn't say it was unacceptable. i am currently using 215/40/17 with no issues. Johnhi there,
i do agree that 40mm thick is the limit. just recently changed mine to 205/45/17 without asking around. it's not suitable. it touches the rear fender and ate the rubber.
one quick question though, if i were to change it to 205/40/17, will the same thing happen? do i have to do any mod to make them fit nicely?
