What bulb is used for the reversing light on 2013 4x4? I have looked on two bulb sites and both list different bulbs. I want to replace with an led bulb to get a brighter light

The handbook says it's a W16W.

You might need to read up about replacing normal bulbs with LEDs.
The cars computer checks all the bulbs by monitoring the power they draw when turned on.

If you fit an LED, it won't draw the same power and will cause the yellow warning triangle on the dash to light up as it thinks the bulb has blown.

Kayjj The bulb is a 16 watt wedge ended bulb (type W16W or 955 -- as shown in the car's handbook :) )

eg here https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/luca...0hPN07N4qxQiVBDocPTxXlGRNEswDyMRoC6M4QAvD_BwE

So far as i know you can only get this particular type of bulb as 16w, so unlikely to be able to make it brighter (an LED alternative will likely throw up bulb failure warnings and technically is not 'road legal' either)

Note: if you don't already know, to replace the bulb, it is accessed through a little 'hatch' in the rear wheel arch... remove the hatch cover, then twist the whole bulb holder (including the wires) on the back of the light and it will drop out to reveal the bulb. No tools needed, and total time to change about a minute.

If you don't have the handbook, you can download it from here: https://carmanuals2.com/d/113228, https://carmanuals2.com/get/fiat-pan...-manual-113228
Don't be fooled by the big 'advert' saying 'sign up', but click the smaller the download link below it (11.9MB file, 200-ish pages) which is the 2019 handbook as a PDF file

[Edit - should have spotted that Goudrons gave pretty much the same reply... sorry!]

Hmmm... I have already changed my reversing light bulb for an LED (no Can-bus issues!) But I'm almost certain mine was not a wedge-type bulb. Mine is a 2014 vehicle so may be different?

I got mine from Classic Car LEDs

They're good, but the best and brightest LEDs I've ever found were supplied by http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/enter-site.php Unfortunately these guys stock a much more limited range

Hi.
The reverse lamp isn't in the canbus circuit, when mine blew it didn't show a warning. I have a non canbus bulb in mine now with no warnings.
It's W16W, fitment
