Hi,

I have a Seicento s (not sporting) and would like to fit a regular sporting rev counter. I've seen some threads that say there is a 4 pin connector beneath the dash but when I took off the centre heater panel I could'nt see anything!

Please help.

:)

There is indeed a 4 pin connector, on the Sei Sporting: it fits into the back of the rev counter and is a pretty rare connector. Without that, you'll really struggle. If you're in a scrappy and they've removed the r/c, it's the one you'll see popping out if the hole where the r/c was.

I see no reason whatsoever why the Sporting rev counter shouldn't work, but it ain't going to be easy as both the dash and the harness are subtly different.

Thanks for the quick reply

I never thought it would be so difficult...

If there is no 4 pin connector then I guess you'd need to cut through the dash and into the engine bay..then a ground, +ve 12V and engine pulse and attach those to the sporting tacho. Sounds quite tricky!
