I need new front lower arms. I want to transfer the bushes I have in my old arms to the new ones. Has anyone tried this? Is it possible to press the bushes out without destroying them?

From my understanding the lower arm bushes are moulded into the arm itself so you cant transfer them over, you have to replace the whole arm as one piece. :(

The new arms I have do already have bushes in them. But I have fancy powerflex bushes in my old arms so I want to keep them. Fitting the bushes is no problem but removing them usually destroys them. The bushes cost 150 pounds for the complete set and they are less than 20k old. It seems a bit of a waste to chuck them out.

Hi buddy,
I have seen some shops around Istanbul manufacturing bushes for Palio's front lower arms. The bushes are produced because it is cheaper just to replace bushes instead of the complete arms. I am not sure if you mean changing the flexible inner parts of the bushes, so may i suggest changing the bushes with metal round surroundings around the flex parts? (There are so much rounds, sorry for poor English, hehe)
Cheers,

as i recall, the lower arm has 2 bushes, i got a garage to use the big press they had to push one out, and push the poly one from superflex in, the rubber one came out no prob (in fact still have them will post a pic tomorrow when i find them)
