Hi all,
Been working through my Uno Problems the last year now. I always found most parts were available from somewhere and were reasonably priced. Usually stuff that has been on a shelf for years and people just want to get rid off.
I didn't intend to take the back axle out of the car but the rust where it attaches to the body was worrying so had to drop it. I have to do some welding. Since I had this off I might as well replace the bushings as they have to come out to weld the circular piece that holds them. It is completely destroyed with rust.
I have tried to source the bushings, called Hub Carrier bushings, Fiat part 5947887. Same ones used on all Uno models including the Turbo. I can find some on ebay UK for £24 each plus shipping to Ireland, crazy price and cost me more than car is worth. The only other place is ebay Italy for 7.10 euro each but no shipping to Ireland. I could try main dealer here but they are not helpful to say the least, don't want to hear about 25 year old Uno.
Was wondering could anyone help me, I have included pictures below. Could anyone tell me where else I could try. I will be in the UK in two weeks for a week so can have them shipped to UK address.
