Trying to help a friend with his 2000 Barchetta, it has a returnless fuel system and unfortunately he has no manual. We have spark but seems to have little pressure at the rail. He tested pressure at the pump and has 50 psi but had no adapter for fuel rail Schrader valve. There is no fuel filter in the typical spot and the fittings on the line don't appear to accomodate a filter and don't see one anywhere in engine compartment. Have looked for an obd 2 connection but don't see that either. Owner says no cel. I have tried to disconnect the fuel line at rail but to no avail., to allow to test for flow and pressure. Any hints would be appreciated

Hello,

There's the whole eLearn CD doc in the downloads section of the forum for the Barchetta. From what I can see, it covers the fuel system. I have no idea if for all variants, nor if the fuel system is the same or different on all of them.

It's one of the docs I've found, but it covers only the 1998 range, not the 2000. The question is if your friend's car is a MY1999 or MY2000. Might be both if it has been produced or first registered in 2000.

Thanks Green Vanper, I have found a lot on the internet but again all that I've seen has dealt with the return style system. I really need the specs for the returnless and there just doesn't seem to be any information, just alot of generic babble about returnless fuel systems

FIAT is not sharing all of the docs, especially on some odd versions (I have the same problem with my methane powered engine), but if you haven't checked the contents of the eLearn CD, it might be worth to check.
I just joined the forum this morning so not up to speed on everything that's available yet. Thanks for that info. This car was imported from Japan and the fellow I'm, helping is the second owner in Canada it's got 66k km on it.The car is in very nice shape any idea what the car might be worth?
