Technical Resontor in Fiat BRAVA 1.6 16V

Hi All ,
I have same questions regarding resontor in my 1.6 engine.
what is the purpose of it ?
why I have two upper and lower?

Im not 100% on how the Bravo/Brava would respond to this but on other cars removing the resonator should slightly reduce low end torque, slightly increase induction noise, and slightly increse top end power.

Personally I would leave it as it is.
