Hello from Brazil, I have a 2002 Brava it was acting like the fuel pump went out pulled it out and found that the filter was never changed we changed it put the pump back in and test drove it it will now pull a hill in 3 instead of 1st gear. But from a stop and start it is not getting full power unit it gets up in higher rpms. When started and at idle it dose the initial high start rpm and then comes down to 700 but its not right , seams like it goes a couple of revolution's and then it drops down below 700 and then back to 700 like a vacuum leak?, but above 1000 it’s great? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance..

700rpm is the target idle speed, you should expect it to fluctuate +/- 30 rpm around this so a dip to 670 is acceptable. If it is stumbling lower than that it might be the idle control valve, unfortunately on 2001 and newer Brava/o's this seems to be integrated into the throttle body. It may not be the case with a Brazilian car though, I only know this from UK cars. Get a picture of your throttle body and I may be able to idenitfy it.

Hey man thanks for getting back to me on this I appreciate it . I will get a picture tomorrow it’s 8:00 pm here now. So I have a update on the idle it is well with in the target of 700 and now it’s not really deviating much at all but now it sounds like it is only running on 2- maybe 3 cylinders drove it on the highway yesterday and it was ok but still not right, got to the families and had a visit. So on the way back it was like well is going to make it or was this a bad idea pushing the throttle down as far as she would go and to me like I said seems only running on 3 trying to feather into a bit higher speed but no go so I shifted it into 3 rd from 4th and then it felt like it had passed something through somewhere and then it ran great we went to the store and got back in to go home and same thing all over again. So I don’t know if it’s a injection or sensors.. anyway I will post the throttle body tomorrow I think there’s three sensors on it if I remember correctly. But I really want to thank you for your time…. and help..

That's an 'Italian tune-up'!
It does sound like sparks problem, so you should check coil packs, HT leads, spark plugs, like @puntodeltathema mentioned. Worst case, it could be the ECU.
In the same time, it could also be the injectors that could use a cleaning and also, it could be the idle control valve as mentioned already, I think you can replace that unit that sits in the throttle body. We're waiting for the photo.

If its the earlier 1581cc and not the 1596cc engine then could well be injectors as mentioned by the others.
If you can, try holding the throttle open (or ask somebody else to) at around the rpm it starts to miss on cylinders. Then pull a HT lead off (be careful not to shock yourself) and see if the engine noticably stumbles, reconnect HT lead and move onto the next cylinder, repeat this for all. If one or more cylinders doesn't really change how the engine is running then you've got either spark or fuel issues on that cylinder.
