Resetting ECU - Help needed!

Hi!

I just had a new stalk installed on my Bravo 1.4 -97 however now the airbag light stays on (so not working). The garage told I need to reset the ECU. They could do it, but they cant find the right plug for the computer, theres one in the front near the breakfluid but thats for the engine only. They ripped off all the panels inside, the glovebox etc, but couldnt find the right plug to reset the ECU.

Question is can someone tell where it is it exactly - OR as I do have a red key and the code can I reset the ECU with it as well?

I already tried to take battery of for couple hours with no help.

The airbag ECU has nothing to do with the engine ECU.

Airbag light can only be reset by a garage with the required diagnostic equipment.

Thats exactly what I wrote! The garage can only find the engine plug, but not the plug for their computer tool to reset the airbag. I need to know where the plug is.

Take it to a garage who have the right kit, usually fiat.

The airbag ECU is under the central console.

IM sure the garage had the right tool, as they are specialiced in fixing Fiats. However on my Bravo they couldnt find the ECU for the airbag. According to the information they have its behind the glovebox or the drivers side, but could not find it. But will try now the central console if have better luck!

Is there anything I can do with the red key then? I assume you could do some kind of reset with it?

Maybe they didn't plug the airbag connector back in after changing the stalks over!!??

The red key affects the immobilizer only.

I was there when the stalk was changed, and all the connecting wires were plugged correctly. What I saw, theres not much room for error with them.
