Technical Resetting clock after getting work done on car?

Hi guys! Bit of a long shot but here goes!

I have just had a new starter motor and clutch installed and when the car came back the time on the clock was wrong. So I thought I could just reset the time like I've done twice before with no problems, but this time nothing happens. When I press the menu button the display doesn't change at all. (The display normally goes through a list, mileage, speed, clock etc.)

Any ideas how to fix it?

Doesn't react at all, or just "date and time" menu option is missing?
You can not change time/date while driving. Stop.
Or do the Reset again (unplug battery for couple minutes).

Will try and get my partner to unplug the battery for me and try again.

P.s car is always stationary whilst I'm trying to change the time.! Thanks again!
