Does this actually work? and will it make the injector light go off? Just that when i charged battery up yesterday and took it off the car for 5 hours,i thought id would have reset it by then...But i dont think it has tbh.Light is still on.and every now and then tonight it kept missfirin and droppin revs..(Cud be the injectors+spark plugs) but i thought if i reset the ecu it might work?? :s

The ECU learns to adapt a best fit mode of running according to the condition of the engine and the climate around it. For instance, if you replace or unblock a dirty air filter the ECU will eventually learn the change and operate the engine accordingly.
Resetting the ECU does NOT remove warning lights and/or fault codes from the system. If you have symptoms of a fault, such as back firing and judder it would suggest you really do have a fault.
The ECU reset takes about 30 mins to be safe and the car will re-learn what it needs in about 100 miles of normal driving. Expect lower mpg during that period too.
