Marea ECU

Hi my marea 110 JTD ELX Weekend cut out recently, then wouldnt start. waited about 10 mins and it was ok again. Drove it for 2 weeks around town with no problems then the same happened when decellerating on a mororway, this time i droped down a gear and it came back to life, but each time i eased off the accelerator it tried to cut out.
replaced the crank sensor but it made no difference. I had it connected to a diagnostic computer, but each time it stalled it was as if the computer had lost connection and got no reading from the ecu.

I am wondering if i should replace the ecu?

Any other suggestions welcomed

ps the problem only happend when on a long / fast run, it goes around town no problems

I have found an identical car (perfect runner) that i can get parts from free.
can anyone tell me please:

Where is the ECU on the 110 JTD?
do i need anything else other than the ECU and keys?

Its not an ecu fault,try a new or used maf or even a tps.

Get on Fiat Forum more people use that

Thanks for the info, it turned out to be the Crank Sensor that was faulty, im gonna change the MAF next anyways.
Is it better to buy a genuine Bosch one?

Bosch all the way, Cheap Ebay efforts dont last...

Try a scrapy as well may save you a few quid cus MAFs aren't cheap...
