Technical Replacing the under bonnet sound deadening??

Hi there
So it seems that some critter might have got in to my Panda's engine bay because the under hood insulation is all chewed up in one section! The joys of having previously lived in a rodent infested Glasgow neighbourhood....

I want to replace it but can't seem to find anywhere that sells it online, or any breakers near me.
Has anyone replaced it themselves with the sound deadener pads you can get on ebay etc? I have no clue what I'm doing, and was hoping someone could help explain what to do. Thanks!

It seems that it differs depending on the engine. The part number is:

51859519 LINING CC0.9, CC1.2+(LL1,LL2)
51910778 LINING CC1.3

The one that fits your car should be 51859519.

I've have not heard about deadening the bonnet in the panda, but I know lots of campervans users changed the original lining / insulation to a more general use insulation like armaflex. With success.

I will do the same in my daily, non-FIAT car, with the engine below the trunk to avoid heating its contents

Look out for any heat issues with non-original solutions; flammability issues in extremis!
