Hello.

So can anyone please tell me what the squeak noise may imply when I release the brake pedal?

Thanks.

I am assuming your noise is coming from around the pedal assembly.
However, I have a similar squeak on releasing the brake pedal on Fiat Doblos with rear brake shoes and one day I will get around to putting some heat proof grease where the shoes touch the back plate.
See if with handbrake on a couple of notches the noise changes, if so it may be the same as mine.:)

I have now been informed it could be a faulty water pump from when in got installed about a month ago? This a possibility?

Noise from pressing the brake pedal !!!???
If auxillary belt was slack or too tight you may get a noise from near the water pump.
I assumed your noise happened even with engine switched off?

Am sorry I thought this was my other post. Oh so yeah there is a slight squeak from the brake pedal. It wasn't happening much today but was still there
