Can you replace it diy stylee? or does it have to be taken to some professional or fiat dealer? Mine had a fit the other day and refused to unlock my car, just wondering if the battery is on it's last legs....

Dead easy, Pop out they key and look in the recess where it came from.

You'll see a small screw and an open and closed padlock. Rotate the screw to open and then the battery tray pops out.

Change the battery and then seal back up.

Dont forget to turn the screw back to the closed padlock.

all been well im coming to haunt sorry see you / Fraz if he still needs help with his clutch next weekend all been well got a spare 2032 lithium cell on my desk if your still stuck i'll fetch it..

All being well, Adrian Bravo is coming thru this weekend to help with the clutch and I found a battery so it all works now - cheers dudes :)

How did you do it? I didn't manage to pop up the battery. I pull up the key bayonet and I saw and rotate the screw to open but nothing happened!
What I do wrong?
