The "handy flaps" in the wheel arch liner are ridiculous. They fold up in the way of the indicator bulb cap, and i can barely get my hand in my from the top in my T-Jet... so im not sure how to get my chrome bulbs in...

Thanks for the manual. I was starting to think that there are some kind of securing clips or something on those connectors (H4). They were so stuck I had problems removing them even with the help of screwdriver.

Good guide but need to change my side repeaters to chrome, can't find anything on here to help! I have had a look but don't want to damage the paint.

Side lights done! Was a lot easier than expected although the left side was a bit difficult because of the tight space. Also I wasn't able to "wiggle" the main bulb out of place. It just wasn't budging but then i was also scared to pull to hard.

I'll try again tmrow!

Oh... And I managed to debadge the rear as well using the 'kettle and credit card' trick...

Hi

Thanks for the guide, i just nipped out to fit my xenons, surely you didn't do this guide whilst the headlihts were still fitted? I don't have enough room to do it without removing my headlight, so exactly how do you do this?

I undid the two bolts and grommet on the top, is there another bolt elsewhere holding the headlight in place?

Cheers

Jamie

So... the guide says: "If your's wont budge dont yank it too hard the last thing you want is to snap the retaining hook for the sprung wire..." and I did exactly that and now I have snapped the retaining hook for the sprung wire. PLEASE TELL ME I CAN FIX THIS!! I dont have the money to buy a new headlight (I'm a student and I can barely afford the petrol :p )

Please help me with this subject, here in Chile we are in winter and the days are very short so I really need my headlights working. (I couldn't even change the damn bulb!!)

The headlight I broke is the left one (your passenger's side, in front of the battery).

Sorry for the bad enlgish, Im doing my best ;)
Thank you in advance!

Thanks for information on how to remove the mulitplug when it had a very secure grip.
I was changing the offside dipped headlight bulb and faced that problem.
The information on removing the multiplug under those circumstances was priceless.
Harmed with that I'd changed the bulb in 5 mins.

Many thanks and respect 0James
