Technical Replace gas pedal

My gas pedal is a bit bent. Anyone replace theirs and have some guidance they could share?

I had to replace mine with a repro part. Where is it bent? The typical failure point is where the rod is peened on to the pedal. A quick tack weld will save the day in many cases. I only replaced mine b/c I didn't have access to a welder then. I'd send you my extra, but my parts are still packed up mid-move.
