Re: Front upper grille

Can anyone twell me please how you go about removing the front upper grille on my Sporting?
I want to fit something behind it out of sight.
Cheers

I'm thinking police lights?!?!

I had some of those 2!!! 2 x white on the outside and 2 x blue on the inside...I must admit the results are quite impressive!!!

Obviously needless to say these have never been used on the road (y)

Re: Front upper grille

Lol they look ace, my mate has HID's in his golf and if he flashes them they look like police lights, funny when he pulls people over.

Dare I say Radar Detector for my Snooper, Allegedly!!
Thanks for the advice Guys.:)

lol thanks mate!! They're good fun...only ever used them a few times though because you never know what you're pulling!! Used them once on a drunk 'cos he was all over the damn road and going to kill someone...he pulled over and the traffic went passed unharmed luckily...don't think he'd've moved off for quite some time after that scare!!

No need to say that I don't condone this in any shape or form.

However I like them, my mate is a first responder and has some fitted to his car.

I've seen their stuff...it looks ace from the website and reviews! They're certainly a useful tool when required for the right (legal) reasons...I tend to just get a kick out of going into car parks with them on to scare all the idiots doing drugs at the back of them away :=)

lol, which ones are you using in your grille?

If you goto halfords they do some cheap 18 quid for a pair of strobe lights. I've got 2 sets...one has no covers so is just bright white and the other has blue covers to make them blue...but they come with all of that. I know they're not the best but they're cheap, at night they are bright and they seem to do the job!!! Think they are made by Prism...hmmm

I've taken them out atm but i'll put them back in for auto italia me thinks...if I can be bothered to put them on the linea!!

i would understand a jammer but i dont see the point of putting a detector behind there! They ARE legal. Also i had one and the ARE useless!!! Get a GPS with camera detection. They are way way better as the radar detecors give false alarms all the time, they only warn you of lasers when you have already been clocked, they dont detect front facing or average speed cameras. You can get carmera databases for most GPS systems from here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/.

On the police light thing, i want some, i would never do it but i would be great to pull people over!

We have 2 cars with jammers (fitted but obviously not used.) they were legal at the time of install and are fitted to the numberplates directly...so I don't see why you'd need to remove the grill anyway. And as for detectors...I agree...they're legal so enjoy it whilst you can and mount it somewhere easy and accessible!!!

Lol, it is great fun...especially Lorrys =]]

I cant see whats so funny about it myself, but I am grown up and sensible........mind you, in saying that I would laff my c**k off if someone took your number, tipped off plod and you got charged with impersonating a police officer.

True, i would never do it as stated, one can only dream though! The amount of times ppl drive s*** or cut me up, i wish i was a police officer and could pull them over. I in no way meant that people shoud impersonate!
