Glad to hear it worked...

Let us know how you get on with your fuel economy pans out and what the performance is like after the ECU has settled down.

Good for you, I know that feeling of dread when you turn the key very well!!! There is nothing worse than wirrrrrrr. wirrrrrrrrrr. followed by the inevitable swearing! At least with 75% of remapping we can just reload the original map back on and start dicking about with the modified one!

Tell me about it...lol

I remember when we finished re-wiring the car, tried to start it and got the wirrrr, wirrrr...(followed by panic rather than swearing...lol)

Luckily we realised after a few beers that we forgot to put the immobiliser ring back on the ignition barrel...DOH!

How releaved was i! :)

i know that worry...
i did the timing belt and variator on the punto a few weeks back. i did the job 100% text book (or service cd), but it still took me what seemed like 10 mins to turn the key!

@ Johnathon

You may not "blow up" the chip but you can degrade it's life.

Important in things like space industry

Much easier with carbs and distributors, as long as you don't get the dizzy 180deg out ;)
