Hey, I've just bought my car and it came fitted with a Ripspeed headunit. I haven't actually had a go at taking it out yet, but I'd like it if someone could tell me how I'd go about doing it.

I know that when I had my Pioneer headunit I needed some keys to remove it, that slotted into the cage and pulled the headunit out - so my question is, will these keys be universal or will I need specific Ripspeed keys? And if so, are these keys available from Halfords or somewhere along those lines?

should be universal at a guess.... or if you can reach around from the back you can push them out easily that way sometimes. depends what car obviously.

Ripspeed hu = punto at a guess. Normall a couple of small flat head screw drivers does the trick. Just look for a small slot either side normally only visible after removing the fascia frame.
