Technical Removing heater fan resistor plate

Hello,
I have a car with automatic AC. The connector is burned so I am thinking to just soldering the wires to the resistor pins. The resistor plate seems to be held in place by two screws, but when I unscrew them, the plate doesn't move.
Does anyone know if there is something more holding it?

Hi,
Unfortunately seems that no one had the same problem with removing the resistor on a car with climate control.
P.S. I know how to remove the resistor of a manual heated unit.
