General Remote Locking Problem

Hi Guys

Just joined the forum and wondered if you could help.

I have a 2003 Stilo Abarth which in the year that I have owned it has been fantastic.

However, I now have a small problem.

Yesterday my son got in the car and locked the doors by pressing down on the buttons by the windows. Now my remote locking wont work at all. It will lock and unlock via the key or the deadlock button on the door, but not the remote!!

Anyone know if there is a way of resetting this please??

Yes, the car starts and runs fine.

It just seems like by locking the car from inside that it has disabled the remote locking in some way.

Had similar problem a while back..........disconnect car battery for 1/2 hr and then reconnect presto...........and it's still working

Just one niggling thing now. When I first got the car the stereo would stay on when the engine was turned off, which I find annoying.

I remember resetting this so that the stereo went off with the ignition, but this has now reverted to the original settings.

I cant for the life of me remember, or find in the manual how I did this. Any ideas??
