I dont, i only have one when i bought the car. it would be brillient to get it working as thats the only thing that doesnt work on my punto. apart from my little cousin putting a twig in the lock and cant open it on the drivers side.lol. I will have to see if i can get any info from someone like the wiring diagram for the Remote central locking that would be of great help!
would that be a seperate fiat branded remote or ones built into the keys
if it's seperate little round ones will have a remote relay in the auxiliary fuse box in the glove box side with the rest of fues and relays for wondoes central locking and fogs
if its fiat the control box is in the right hand side of the boot
to program new remotes to it you either need one working remote to open the memory and you can then program any remote you fancy to it pick them p on ebay from time to time
or the original programming code
i would be amazed if anyone still has one of the original codes for the locking on a mk1 punto
should be able to check out puts from the control box and see if it's trying to do anything with the locks it will simply be earthing one or the other small wires on the central locking relay in much the same way the door switches do to trigger it but to do this it will obviously need a power and good earth point so check these also other than this there is not allot to it arial maybe some wires to the lihts not used in the uk market
believe there is also a way to make it give you fault codes with an led on it and also a programming button iirc
ok just had a look the wiring is fairly simple power earth ignition live signal for alarm you dont have earth for lock earth for unlock
has a green led and a programing button you probably souldnt mess with untill you know how it works as even to me the programing prosedure is bludy complex
howether the led should flash on every press of a remote to give a visal confirmation of it receiving the signal
also the remote should led should flash lots of times fast if it's battery is good and only once continuous if it's bad
