Introduction

450miles of motorway driving has taken the shine off it! :(

pictures taken jsut before washing it again - will be waxed later if it stays dry (y)
update for anyone who doesnt check cinq section..

well, i drove her for the first time in nearly 10months earlier today. she needs refining - but, drives.

you can see here where i exited the drive, highlighted with some photoshop skillz

quick trip down the road to check everything is working. no full throttle or arseing about yet.

rocker cover nex ton the list?

whats that on the right hand side of the engine bay? is it the ECU and can i see the PCB?

thing on the right is a relay board. has the control relays and power fuses etc for the ECU which is in the passenger footwell

rocker cover can stay as it is.. i've done enough to it lately - this is the list of stuff done on last rebuild.

engine:

new ported, flowed and skimmed MPI head.
spesso head gasket fitted
port matched inlet manifold.
MPI fuel rail etc
uprated fuel pump
D1 spec fuel regualtor and rejigged fuel lines
flexy added to decat section
megasquirt standalone programmable ECU and LC1 lambda
alternator wiring and engine earthing upped

interior:

battery relocated to boot
full set of gauges fitted, EGT, Oil pressure, Oil Temp, AFR, vac.
new door pockets with 16cm comps (not picked up yet)

brakes
New master cylinder
stainless steel flexys
GT front brake setup (257mm vented)
GT rear setup, disc conversion. (240mm)

suspension
new front arms and bushes
new rear arms and powerflex bushes.

new wheels to allow bigger brakes

various other bits and bobs along the way

it's now passed the emissions tests and is booked in for a full MOT on monday :)
 
Well thought i'd post up some recent pictures, and specs of my car.

Engine
1242 8v MPI, Punto75 Engine.
Ported, skimmed and flowed head with valve guides cut back.
Port matched inlet manifold.
Lightened flywheel
Punto 85 Fuel pump.
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Megasquirt engine managment system with LC1 wideband lambda controller
GSR Induction kit with BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox
Supersprint 4>2>1 manifold, decat, stainless centre section and Supersprint backbox
Low temp thermostat
PuntoGT fan switch
Alloy rad.
Battery relocated to boot and massively uprated.

Brakes
257mm Vented, Red Dot 6 groove discs fast road pads.
Rear disc conversion with 240mm solid, red dot 6 groove discs with standard pads.

Suspension
Spax PSX kit with shortened adjustable dampers
60mm drop at the front and 40mm at the rear
Shiny new wishbones and bushes at the front.
Shiny new arms at the back with powerflex bushes.
OMP Front Upper Strut Brace

Exterior
Abarth rear apron
Abarth rear spoiler with LED brake lights
Abarth speedline wheels
Front bumper cut out.
LED brake, and sidelights.

Interior
LED dash lights.
ECU mounted under dash.
LC1 calibration button and LEDs under dash
Ashtray removed and replaced with graphic EQ
Vacuum and AFR gauges mounted in custom A-Pillar gauge
Oil Pressure, Temperature, and Exhaust Gas Temperatre gauge mounted in centre vents.

I think that's it, spec wise.

Nice pics, amazing what you can do with a decent camera and good eye ;)

Though third pic from bottom you still running 13" rear 14" front :confused:

i know, it actually looks broom yellow doesn't it :cool:

you weren't supposed to pick up on the wheel issue, but yes i've got 14s on the front and 13s on the rear. Reason being when i got the car on the road, i didn't have the rear spacers done in time for the 14's (they were 15mm, needed to be 8mm). Plus two of the 14s had dead tyres on, where as my 13s are still good to go (y)
