Yes, but it has always petered out to nothing in the end. Makes life a lot easier when you have assets to divide though!

I'm going through the same thing at the moment. Seperated, sold the house and splitting the proceeds, etc. Three grown up children, so we will need to be there when they have our grandchildren, if we can stand each other and try not to score points! I've moved on, she hasn't. Also, she wanted the split but still wants security... out of my half of the house and because I earn more than her, it looks like she will get it too.
I don't think I want to be friends with her after. It's difficult enough just being civil.
Thank goodness my new partner is understanding.
