There are a couple i know who are in their 50's they do everything seperate - they dont even go on holiday together well they do occassionally - she goes with her friends and he goes with his. They lead two seperate lives - i dont see the point in them being together i asked one of them why are they together - they said its cheaper than getting a divorce - i thought it was really sad, because they bith are lovely people, but i think they are scared to find people new so they basically settle with what they are used to. i think it is a shame as you only have one chance of a life so you should make it a happy one and not settle - wow that was a bit serious

Ah but if you don't get married it could end up costing you more in the long run if you're not legally clued up due to lack of rights over kids, property etc. It's worth it for the legal protection it brings. Shame it doesn't bring many tax benefits any more, that would be a great reason for me to stay married. In case I forgot to mention, I have now had my two years separation so next time I go into town I shall be picking up a set of divorce papers and sending them off WAHEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

I have to keep friends with my ex because of the kids. Amazing she's with someone who is nearly drawing his pension!
Had my fair share of relationships, but now I with someone I have known for 17 years and it's just magic!

I think its kinda weird when parents stay together once they've divorced and meet up for coffee and stuff... but i suppose its just cus my parents hate each other and couldnt be left in the same room without killing each other.. thats weird too tho cus they used to be in love... ohhh i'm with custard and the crying thing
