Hi , new to the forum just bought a 95N reg Ulysse 2.0EL petrol. Overall car is excellent almost everything works !. Right car came with 1/2 a key , no remote or fob etc so have not been able to even try locking the doors. The other half of the key was glued into the ignition !.
Having got a locksmith to fish that out and make a new key , I now find that I still can't lock either the boot or doors , key inserts ok but then spins 360 in the lock with almost no resistance. Locksmith says all locks have been tampered with (?) , but no evidence to suggest this is true .
So simply ,does a fiat of this age need a remote / red key? or is the central locking just up the shoot!. Keypad / imobilzer works fine , all fuses are ok .
Any help / comments appreciated.

Hi Thanks for the suggestion .Tried it but still nothing . Since the post have discovered the following :
There is no power to the central locking motors - fuses are all ok ,now waiting for a manual to arrive to trace the wiring through the car .
All door locks are badly worn , having stripped out the boot lock have found the plastic moulding which connects the mechanism to the barrell is very worn and slips off the barrel lugs when turned.
So bought a used lock set on ebay and will replacing the lot . Central locking will have to wait for now.
Thanks for your suggestion.
