General Recommend me a backbox.

Hey,

I got my car up on ramps today because herd a ratteling coming from exhaust... turns out that speedbumps smacking backbox for few months took its toll on the backbox and now has a huge dint in it...

So I am looking for a new backbox that sounds more sporty than stock one...

I dont have much of a budget so cheap as poss if someone can Recommend

Not sure, but they'll be a hell of a price now. Did see this one for Seis, but if it's being battered round Glossop.............

Yeah I looked at that fingers99, but don't want new system just want BB What you on about Glossop? And i do take slow, it when i wheels go over and goes down i hear BANG as it smacks in backbox :/

If I lived in Glossop, I'd want something that handled, rather than posed. I need to beat my personal best for the Snake. It'd not be low enough that the back box hit the deck!

AFAIK, no-one makes backboxes that are anything like a straight fit. You might try writing to those guys and seeing if they'll do the rear portion.

ahh! I dont really go down that way tbh... Never done the snake I can fly down Via Gellia (near cromford) stupidly quick around them corners!

heh i have the standard one on my car with nothing inside the back box. one end rusted through (and everything inside it) and cos i am a tight b****** i just welded a plate over the end of it. but not before pulling everything out of it. to be honest.. theres no difference in sound. lol

oh and to add, i have no center box on it. just a cat converter. lol

yeah that looks like mine but the way the tail-pipe is attached is different, but mine is well old so design may have just changed slightly over time.. I personally have had it on 3 cars and was already on a car i bought with 95k miles on it, gods knows how old it actually is but must be about 10 years old..


car not been started for a while when i made this video, runs much better once its been running for a bit has the middle section too
