Technical Rear windscreen wiper arm

Hi all,
I've bought 2 rear wiper arms from 2 different retailers to replace, yet on both the hole is to small on the arm to fit over the bit that sticks out from the window.. Is there something I am missing? Both parts sourced via my number plate. The car is 2009 bravo 1.4tjet.

Sounds like bad luck and you'll need to keep buying until you get the right ones. Probably the wiper motor on the car was replaced, so now the numberplate recogniton for this part is useless.

If you want someone to check you're not doing something wrong then post pictures of the arm and the bit that sticks out.
