does anyone know which is the +/- wires for the rear speakers as i can't see anything on the connector

you can work it out using a AA battery and some wire. get the original speaker and try using the battery on it both ways, you will notice that one way the cone moves out and one way the cone moves in. when the cone moves out you have the battery positive connected to the speaker positive. now that you know which side is positive on the speaker you can plug the wiring connector into the speaker and see which wire is on the positive side. easy
