Technical Rear n/s tyre wear on outside edge

Hi guys, does anyone know if Punto`s have the same rear axle fault as I`ve seen in the Stilo posts, ie uneven rear tyre wear ? Was servicing my wifes 2008 1.2 Punto recently and noticed the n/s (left) rear tyre was almost bald on the inside, but as good as new on the outside - never seen this before. If not axle related, what else could be worn ? ( ps it is the inside edge thats worn - typo on heading) !

Is the wheel bearing ok on the offending wheel ??Is the rim ok ?? Only time I had an issue like that on my grande was when the rear tyres (Bridgestones )where nearing the end of their life and then both rear tyre went on the inside ..Fitted 2 new bridgestons and all was ok ..You may just have a bad tyre .Never has a tre wear issue on any fiat I have had ,apart from what I mentioned and that was the tyres at fault thought they where close to their limit so where due for renewal anyway

Hi Phil, going to remove drums today to check pads/ bearings etc ( had to buy new torx ). What puzzles me is that both rear tyres replaced same time, o/s has worn evenly, but n/s has absolutely no wear on outside edge, and gradually wear increases thru middle to inside ?!
