Hi, I'm Dave and I have just joined the Forum.
I own a Ducato Motorhome, built by Timberland in 2008. We have had no major problems with the vehicle, but a couple of months ago we found that the rear offside light was flickering, then staying on. At first I thought it was because the vehicle battery was going low, so I charged it up. It made no difference. I checked the bulb - no problem. I also had a local garage look at it - they found nothing, but suspected a trapped wire, which they "freed". The problem went away, but has come back again over the last couple of days.
I intend taking it to a Fiat Stoneacre centre in Wigan or Hyde (we live in Liverpool) to see if the have an Auto-electrician to investigate.

Has anybody else had such a problem?

Thanks,
Dave

Block connector on main loom to bulb holder, probably find an end terminal loose and blackened, it's the earth term, open connector clean out the terminal then close the terminal prongs back together, they open up through heat (resistance)
Do both sides,
On my old 57 plate I had same issue and a few courier colleagues have had same,

Many thanks for your prompt reply, rolopolo. I've looked at the block connector before, but could see anything amiss. I'll have a closer look at it tomorrow.

Is your motor home van based or chassis based? Didn't think when I replied, if it's van based and has retained standard lamps etc to the van then my fix is a fix for a very common issue, if chassis based then the lights & looms may be different and probably better quality!

I believe my motorhome is van based - built by Timberland from a Fiat Ducato 120 Multijet van.

Ok worth checking those connectors then mate
