Technical Really bad grinding noise on acceleration

Hi all,

I had to pull away at a roundabout because a car was flying around it.

I dropped the clutch into 2nd at really high revs and it made a really big bang.

Ever since, anything more than the lightest acceleration makes really bad grinding noises seemingly from nearside front and vibrations all through the van.

I replaced the nearside drive shaft today because the boot was completely split and I figured it was the CV joint.

Same grinding noises and it's just split the new rubber boot, too.

No idea what in the world is going on. I've got van in the air and put it into first, same sorts of noises. Any ideas?

Not sure if you replaced a drive shaft or fitted new cv boot.
Sounds like cv joint broken up internally.

To split the new boot. You must have something flailing around

Fitted new driveshaft. Split boot again. Want to know what it was!?

Bolt holding the gearbox up and failed. The gearbox was sat close to the joint such that when it started turning the gearbox had been pulling the boot apart.

Raging. Driveshaft to come back out again.
