Re: alarm fitting for Marea.

 Hi
Just wondering if you can help? I,m in the process of fitting an Alarm to my 105 JTD Marea its a 2000 model. I,m a little confused as to how to connect the Blue wire from my Alarm to the door switches. They are located in the door catch and the interior light is controlled by a timer. John.

Re: alarm fitting for Marea.

Does you dash have the indicator that tells you which door is open?rather than just telling you one of them is open., if so then you need to connect the trigger wire to all of the below wires but you will need to use a Diode on them because the headlight warning buzzer would go off no matter what door you open if you dont and the "door open" indicator will show all doors open,.
Its easy enough to do. the Diode simply lets the flow of electricity go one way but not the other so therefore not looping all of your doors to the same circuit.,.,

Gray/Green, Gray/Yellow, Gray/Black and Gray/Red at the ABI unit behind the glovebox.,
