Rattling and Creaking trim!!

My 1.4SX Bravo has always been fairly rattly with the interior (or inferior) trim panels. This i have sorted by buying some black sealant and going over all the joins inside the car where one panel meets another air vents, door panels, rear hatch panels etc.
Now there is no rattling, and it looks as though Fiat have even finished the car of properly with no unsitely gaps between the trim! Now i can drive with the music turned down or travel with out any music on at all in peace and quiet.

what type of sealant?

what type of sealent mate as mine rattles like hell too. is it like that stuff you use to line showers with. the stuff in the tube that u need like a gun for?

Hi, no its just ordinary Black Sealant, i bought a tube of it from Motorworld for £3.99, it works a treat. No more rattles or creaks and all the gaps in the trim panels are neatly filled. My most annoying rattle was from the passenger side air vent, i just prised it away from the dash spread in some sealant all around it and now no noises at all, this one has been driving me crazy for months, i taken it out 2 or 3 times and it still rattled.
The black sealant did the trick though. I have also done the door panels, centre console, rear hatch panels and also the join around the top air vent above the radio.
Hope this helps
