Hey, there is some horrible silver plastic trim around the top of the bump strips on my new car...how do I remove these as they look daft? What would be the best thing to use to get rid of all the sticky stuff used to put them on? Cheers.

sticky stuff is glue mate, just pull them off but watchin the paint work as you go(or by prizin it off with a thin screwdriver or similar) to get rid of the glue, use a hair dryer on it and some hot soapy water and scrub it off.then just polish it all over with.
Thats how i used to get stickers off vans when i were valeting.
Did it the same way to get the side/bump strips off an old escort of mine to get that smooth look :)

I know it's glue :p I read over on FF that either AutoGlym Tar remover or petrol work well...

but you said sticky stuff :p

use a hair dryer mate first, itll get hot and more sticky but when scrubbed with soapy warm water itll all come off.
Then polish up to get rid of the marks where it had been :)
