Good morning.
Somebody that I know has sent me some pictures in rar format. I have seen that I need "win rar" to open it, but is there a best place to download this from, and is there anything I should be nervous about? I trust the sender of the files.

If you download and install this one:-

http://www.7-zip.org/

It will open pretty much any format, it's free and doesn't contain any ads. Once installed you can right click the .rar file and use the 7-Zip menu to extract it.

WinRAR is shareware which means it works for free for a while and then starts nagging.
